Imagine the life of a person with SCI: If you had no idea when your body would release urine or feces; if you had to insert a catheter 4-5 times a day; if the only way to excrete feces required a caregiver's help.
Imagine our vision: A drug that would safely and efficiently produce voiding of urine and stool within minutes of administration. A drug that would eliminate multiple catheterizations. A drug that restores voluntary bowel and bladder control to a SCI patient.
